Teddy Davis is ABC News' Deputy Political Director.
He is responsible for helping plan the network's political coverage on "World News with Diane Sawyer," "Good Morning America," "Nightline," and "This Week with George Stephanopoulos."
He also provides on-camera analysis to ABC’s digital cable station and writes stories for ABCNEWS.com.
Since joining ABC News, he has covered the re-election of George W. Bush, the Democratic takeover of Congress, and the election of Barack Obama. His current reporting assignments include the politics of the president's agenda, the 2010 midterm elections, and the early maneuvering among Republicans for the GOP's 2012 presidential nomination.
Over the years, Davis has questioned top newsmakers including Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, John McCain, Hillary Clinton, Rudy Giuliani, Al Gore, Newt Gingrich, Joe Biden, Howard Dean, and Colin Powell.
Davis earned a bachelor's of science degree from Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service and a law degree from The Catholic University of America's Columbus School of Law.
Prior to starting law school, he served as Special Assistant to the Governor of California.
He is married to Emily Turner Davis and is based in Washington, D.C.
